FULL-STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER - GAME ENGINES

At Latent we strive to reinvent how games are made using cutting-edge AI. We are currently building the next generation, real-time and physics-based animation technology for virtual worlds, which we believe has the potential to transform the industry. To get there, we are solving some of the most interesting and beautiful problems in the field.

You are an experienced (senior to staff level) London-based software engineer who knows how game engines work and, specifically, how to combine different parts of them in a coherent software product. It is likely you programmed your own game engines in the past or had experience with custom ones. You have used Unity, and potentially Unreal. You know your way around big codebases and also have knowledge of web-based technologies, likely having developed your own at some point.

You have also tinkered with physics engines in the past, like PhysX, Rapier, Bullet, or even your own. You also have experience working with software in general and feel confident leading a project.

You will help us package our technology in a coherent user-facing product enabling devs to author emergent physical behaviors from the ground up.

Also, you pride yourself in being a generalist, you are curious and capable to learn about anything and you are capable of working indepently.

If you don't fit perfectly in this description, but you are driven and you think you can learn what it takes, then we would love to hear from you as well.
