MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER

At Latent we strive to reinvent how games are made using cutting-edge AI. We are currently building the next generation, real-time and physics-based animation technology for virtual worlds, which we believe has the potential to transform the industry. To get there, we are solving some of the most interesting and beautiful problems in the field.

You are a junior to staff level machine learning engineer who knows machine learning techniques inside and out and has experience optimizing and developing highly efficient ML code in distributed cloud settings. You might realize we missed out on a huge efficiency gain by not casting a complex operation into an elegant matrix form. At the same time, you are passionate about writing highly parallel, multi-GPU code, and communication and serialization protocols between instances if necessary.

You can crawl your way inside deep learning libraries, understand them, and optimize them. You are well versed in good development workflows including e.g. automated testing an CI.
